GPIB-US-HS can use any computer with a USB port as a fully functional, plug and play IEEE488.2 controller, and can control up to 14 programmable GPIB instruments. NI GPIB-US-HS provides excellent performance through high-speed USB 2.0, reaching 1.8 MB/s using the standard IEEE 488 handshake protocol and 7.2 MB/s using the high-speed IEEE 488 handshake protocol (HS488). GPIB-USB-HS has a small size and light weight, making it an ideal choice for portable applications using laptops or other types of computers without built-in I/O slots. GPIB-US-HS is equipped with NI-488.2 for Windows 2000/XP.
